How was your Mother's Day weekend my dears? Mine was absolutely lovely. For the first time in a while I took Saturday off and just enjoyed myself. It was one of those impromptu days with friends that turned in to an evening that turned into a night. A very late night, filled with laughter and delicious food. It was exactly what I needed. I didn't get to see my momma, but I'm hoping I get to in the next week. What about you, how did you celebrate?

I look forward to the Band of Outsiders Polaroid campaigns by Scott Sternberg, because not only am I a fan of their clothes, but the photographs are always whimsical and slightly silly. Actress Greta Gerwig is the lovely model this Spring, photographed at a paintball park of all places.

Something happened this week and all of a sudden it feels like spring. I'm sure I'll be complaining about the heat before you know it, but for now I'm feeling grateful for the longer days and fragrant blossoms  popping up everywhere.

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Mine was mostly spent working on graphic jobs and a photo shoot- But I managed to sneak a movie/date night in with the fellow and some friends. I have another shoot this afternoon and then tonight we are going to see Bon Iver in Pomona. What a fabulous start to the week.

Hello my loves, how was your weekend? The weather was quite literally perfect here and I made sure to take advantage of it. On Saturday I spent time with friends wondering around Venice and enjoying delicious food. Saturday night James came down with food poisoning so I spent most of Sunday at home with him. Even though we stayed in, I made the best of the 80 degree weather by opening every door and window in our house, sipping iced coffee and putting on a sundress.

While looking over some of my most recent pins, I noticed they all have a dreamy light and soft tones- can you tell I'm longing for spring? Luckily the boy and I won't have to wait until the spring equinox for some warmer temps, because we are headed to The Ace Hotel Palm Springs two weeks from today. I had to take advantage of the 100 N Sunny deal, it was just too tempting!

Florals seem to be everywhere right now, but in a modern updated way. If there is anything I've learned it's never say never when it comes to fashion. Trends you thought you would never be caught dead in can all of a sudden pop up on your spring wish list. I'll never forget one of my best friends telling me seven years ago that skinny jeans were a passing fad she'll never partake in and what do you know- it's pretty much all she wears. Are florals a trend you will be embracing or is it just not your style?
