SHOP THE STREET. ABBOT KINNEY

Last week I got to spend the day with Erin and Michelle of Broke Girls Guide photographing their favorite shops on Abbot Kinney {in Venice} for Glitter Guide. Since I work around the corner, Abbot Kinney is a place I know and love and jumped at the chance to photograph it. There were so many photos that they couldn't all possibly be used, so I thought I'd share a few of the extras as well as some of my favorites from the post.

SWEET STYLE. VICTORY

Did you see my 1940's hair tutorial on Glitter Guide today? To show you how versatile the updated victory curl is I thought I would show you how I plan on wearing it this fall. I put on my favorite new coat, my most comfortable pair of loafers and headed out in the neighborhood to snap a few photos as the sun went down...

wearing:
f21 top {similar style} and trousers
vintage loafers {similar style} and belt
madewell and vintage bracelets
wendy mink and catbird rings

Can you believe it's the last day of September? My favorite month is upon us! Speaking of my favorite month, I better get thinking about my halloween costume. I always leave it until the last minute and end up regretting it. What are your plans for the weekend? This is the first in a while where we have no plans and I am kind of thrilled. Happy Weekend! xx

THE GLITTER GUIDE LAUNCH PARTY

Guess what? I am blogging from the sky- flying from San Francisco to Martha's Vineyard. Afton and I had the best time on our trip, it just wasn't long enough. I took some photos of the city I will be sharing next week, but today I thought I'd share my photos from the Glitter Guide launch party. I had so much fun at the launch, even with the chilly temps and relentless wind {hey I'm a socal girl}! Thank you to everyone that made it out, I loved getting to meet all you SF bloggers. You were all as sweet and stylish as I imagined...
wearing:
zara dress and belt
j. crew, madewell and h&m bracelets
drugstore tights
rachel comey heels

Hope you all have an amazing 4th of July weekend! xx

SAN FRANCISCO BOUND

I am off to San Francisco bright and early this morning with one of my favorite girls- Miss Afton for the Glitter Guide launch party. We decided to make it into a two-day girls adventure and I couldn't be more excited. Not only am I excited for the launch party soirée, but I can't wait to wonder the city, do a little shopping and eat delicious food. I leave Friday morning SUPER early, so I hope I can fit it all in. Do you have any favorite SF spots?

I hope to see you at the launch party tonight! xx
